Shalini Goes to On the Lot
Out of 12,000 entries, Shalini Kantayya was chosen as a finalist for Fox's On the Lot. I have been Shalini's mentor for 2 years and have seen her grow immensly. This is a big stepping stone for her. Unfortunately, last week Shalini's film didn't make the cut and Shalini left her dream of becoming Fox's newest director behind. "I am really proud of the body of work I've created and I have grown as a person as well", she commented during her exit interview. Shalini was one of two women to make the top ten out of 12,000 filmmakers and that's INCREDIBLE! Well, Shalini's dream is just beginning to flourish so stay tuned for incredible work to come from our hero...
